All the functions relating to licensing and
registration contained in any local act and or as specified in
Schedule 1 to the Local Authorities (Functions and
Responsibilities) (England) Regulations 2000 (as amended), Part B
Nos. 1 to 68 (excluding Nos 37 and 38), Part C and Part I No
42.
Established in accordance with section 6 of the
Licensing Act 2003 which states that “each licensing
authority must establish a licensing committee consisting of at
least ten, but no more than fifteen, members of the
authority.
All the functions relating to town and country
planning and development control and other matters as specified in
Schedule 1 to the Local Authorities (Functions and
Responsibilities) (England) Regulations 2000 (as amended) Part A
Nos 1 to 27, Part B Nos 37 and 38, Part I Nos 41, 46 and
47.
To consider and provide views
to the Cabinet and the Council on new or amended planning policy,
the proposed plans and alterations which together comprise the
Development Plan and on any revisions, modifications or variations
thereto including proposals in connection with the preparation of
an altered or replacement development plan, prior to public
consultation under regulations 10 and 22 of the Town and Country
Planning (Development Plans) (England) Regulations 1999.
